About the Author
Winfrey Blackburn grew up in Frankfort, Kentucky in a family that never hesitated to embellish at all tale. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1964 and has practiced law in Louisville since 1965. Now that he has two daughters and a grandson on the way, he looks forward to polishing up the old stories that he made up for his daughters and their friends and even making up some new ones.
About the Illustrator
Sylvia Berger is a constant doodler. When visiting most restaurants with her grandchildren she can be found coloring in a kid’s menu while waiting for her food to arrive. She was born in Canada but has been a proud naturalized citizen for more than 20 of the 30 years she has lived in Louisville, Ky. She received her undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from the University of Louisville in 1983. She received the Winthrop Allen Award for outstanding work as a graduating senior. Her paintings are shown in the Louisville area.
