What better way to capture APD’s proud past and promising future than through a collection of pictures and information that, combined, tell the story of this great department and of the people who made it what it is today? The publisher and the yearbook committee are committed to making the yearbook a comprehensive and professional publication of which all our members, sworn and civilian, active and retired, will be proud to own.
This 9x12-inch, hardbound book will be printed in full-color and contain hundreds of historic and modern photos of civilian and uniformed personnel. It will also include professional portraits of department members and retirees, as well as candid and action photos.
To make it as comprehensive as possible, we are asking APD members and retirees to contribute by sending in stories for consideration. You can work with the Media Office as the Yearbook Committee gets started in a few months. You can also submit photographs from your time with the department – action shots and group photos will be reviewed. Send these photos to the Media Office.
